You tell it so well and I believe you are lucky to have experienced this, it is such a rare chance of fate and I completely agree with what Don said above about helping them. Just amazing story and at least we got to see some photos even if we couldn't witness the actual things!Elisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07276260138211498272noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4787810312957291220.post-13688498423514779402010-01-03T15:09:31.865-08:002010-01-03T15:09:31.865-08:00The Christmas flurry has finally passed, and I hav...The Christmas flurry has finally passed, and I have found time to read your enthralling story of the Nigerian fishermen. I remember being there when the news broke, and I loved hearing how your lives became intertwined. I look forward to hearing "the rest of the story" upon your return tomorrow. Hope Christmas in Las Vegas exceeded all your expectations! How I wish I could have seen one of the soccer games or witnessed the dancing. Best wishes to both you and your new friends. I think...A remarkable story of dispare and relief. I think we tend to accept those in need around us because they are always there and always in need regardless of what we do for them. These young men were suffering an unexpected disaster, one in which they all could have easily died, but they were not helpless, only in need of help. I think it is much easier to help those who accept the help and rise above themselves. Providing help and seeing a result always provides a feeling of accomplishment whereas providing help and seeing no change at all results in acceptance. Merry Christmas Sandy. I hope you have a great time in Vegas with your children.

DonDonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16363395615940613408noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4787810312957291220.post-61331833714533994902009-12-15T13:03:07.380-08:002009-12-15T13:03:07.380-08:00Sandy, your dispatch was beautiful!
