I&#...Wow, What a great trip from past to present. I've only been to Rio once and it was just before Carnival. The groups were practicing in the streets and the samba beat was everywhere. It was a long time ago, back in the late 80's. Unfortuately while there we had a hired guide to decided to take us to as many restaurants as he could that served beef. I guess he thought we "Americans" only ate beef.<br /><br />It sounds like Salvador resonates with the past.
